Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope with one another in order to solve their common problems and help others do the same. The only requirement for membership is that there be a relative or friend with a drinking problem. Al-Anon is a non-profit, non-denominational, anonymous support group.* SJIS serves Al-Anon members, member groups, and the public in South Jersey (south of Route 195 & Mercer County).

Without a Vice Chair, we will have no Chair for next year. It is a legal requirement that we have a Chair, Treasurer,
and Secretary or the South Jersey Information Services (501C organization) has to close. We almost closed
a few years ago. We hope to avoid the same situation coming up in the fall. We understand how important
meetings are but without
SJIS, Assembly and WSO, Al-Anon would have no structure or policy.
